You can update their last year’s Adjusted Gross Income in the software here:
https://app.myexpattaxes.com/wizard/efilingConsentselfselectpin (you must be logged in).
If you filed jointly last year, you both have the same Adjusted Gross Income.
Otherwise, if you are unsure, select that you don’t know your last year’s Adjusted Gross Income on that same page.
It will then ask you to download, sign and upload Form 8879 instead to authorize us to eFile on your behalf.
By following the steps outlined above, you’ll be able to re-submit your return to the IRS.
