How do I report my financial assets as an expat?

We can help you with that. Our intuitive expat tax software allows you to report financial assets simply and smoothly. Financial assets you can report include cash, bank account deposits, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and any other non-US financial accounts.

How to enter your financial assets

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Click “FBAR & FATCA” in the side navigation to reveal the sub-menu.
  3. Click “FBAR Filing Requirements” from the sub-menu.
  4. Confirm if you have any financial accounts located outside of the US.
  5. Confirm if your foreign financial accounts exceed the threshold.
  6. Confirm if you want to file with us (it’s already included in the fee).
  7. Follow the prompts to input your non US financial accounts.

If you need any help, reach out to us via our Live chat by hitting the chat button, email us at team@myexpattaxes.com, or use the Contact Form on our website.
