Current Review Waiting Times
We are working around the clock and prioritizing reviews in the following order:
- Premium
- Reviewed Plan users who owe taxes
- Reviewed Plan users with special situations, such as Form 1040-NR
- All other reviewed cases
Estimated waiting times (subject to change):
- Premium: 2 to 4 business days
- Prioritized Reviewed Plans: 5 to 7 business days

- Only the first review of a tax return is guaranteed for Premium users who purchase by April 10.

2. Make an Extension Payment

Tip: Use a credit card if bank verification fails

Select “Debit card, credit card, or digital wallet on the Make a Payment IRS page. The IRS will then show the IRS-authorized payment processors.
- One option is: https://www.pay1040.com/payment/personal -Follow the steps below on the pay1040 site to complete your payment:
Select Form 4868 (Automatic Extension) and enter your details:

Choose your payment method and complete your extension payment:

3. Decide How Much To Pay
- Check Form 1040-V in your tax package
- If not available, go to: 👉 https://app.myexpattaxes.com/wizard/confirmfinished/
- If no estimate exists, use last year’s tax amount or make a small payment (e.g., $100)
4. Add Your Payment To Your Tax Profile
After paying, add the amount here:
